Faithful Reach

Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and how to get it removed. Written plainly, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

Who we are

Faithful Reach provides social media management and digital marketing for Christian ministries, churches and faith-based businesses. This policy covers faithful-reach.com. If you have any question about it, email eric@faithful-reach.com.

What we collect, and when

We only collect information you type into a form yourself. There is no account to create and nothing is collected in the background beyond the analytics described below.

If you refer someone, please make sure they are happy for you to pass on their details.

Why we hold it

To reply to you, to send you the resource you asked for, and to send the newsletter if you asked for it. That is all. We do not use your details to build a profile of you, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

What we never do

Who else can see it

Only the services that make the site work:

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies at all. There is nothing to accept, which is why you were never asked.

We count page views ourselves, on our own server, so we know which articles are worth writing more of. We record the page address, the day, whether you were on a phone or a computer, and which site you arrived from — nothing else. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracker, and nothing about your visit leaves our server.

We never store your IP address. It is combined with a secret that changes every day and turned into a short code that cannot be reversed, purely so two views in one day are not counted as two people. The next day that code is meaningless.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we count nothing at all.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email eric@faithful-reach.com and we will act within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs nothing.

If you are in the UK or EU, we rely on your consent for the newsletter and on legitimate interest for replying to an enquiry you sent us. You can withdraw consent at any time. If you think we have handled your information badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority — but please tell us first, so we can put it right.

Children

This site is meant for adults running ministries and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored on our hosting account, not in a third-party database, and are protected against automated abuse. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything sensitive through a web form — if you need to share something confidential, email us and we will arrange a better way.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will say so in the newsletter.
